SustainaPac will produce molded natural fiber, compostable food service packaging products to replace single-use plastic products for the QSR and general food service industries. Products for single-use food service applications will initially include fiber hot and cold drink cup lids, and fiber portion cups and lids,
Replacing Plastic
SustainaPac's cellulose fiber based, compostable products will replace single-use plastic food service products that are some of the primary sources of plastic pollution on planet Earth today. Unlike plastic that is only 5-8% recycled, no matter what happens to cellulose fiber-based products, once discarded they have virtually no negative effect on the environment.
Sustainability Plus
SustainaPac's compostable products will be made using an advanced, highly energy and water use efficient fiber molding process having no environmentally negative process effluents. Only FSC certified fiber will be used in SustainaPac products which will use no PFAS (fluorine) additives for impermeability.
On-shore Supply
SustainaPac products will be made in multiple facilities across the USA and Canada. SustainaPac’s high output fiber molding plants will initially be devoted to providing custom fiber product contract manufacturing for food service packaging industry participants marketing in North America.
